This week, I am so excited to share my conversation with Kyla Minx!
Kyla Minx is a native of Houston, Texas and has lived in Rochester since 2000. She has been doing the absolute bare minimum in the artistry of drag since the mid-2000s and shows no signs of elevating her craft or stopping any time soon. Kyla’s is known for her spicy mouth and very active bitch face; and, has been referred to as “even meaner to her friends”. You can see Kyla on stage at Roar Nightclub in Rochester. In addition, she hosts “Kyla’s Drag Throwdown”, a monthly competition for under-promoted drag performers. When Kyla is not crossdressing under the influence of tequila or THC, she works in sexual health education.
